Steps to Start a 12V Car
1. When first receiving a new unit, it will show a false charge and should not be used directly. Please discharge (charge a mobile phone) and then fully charge before using to ensure sufficient battery level (above 75%) for each start.
2. Attach the red clip tightly to the positive (+) terminal of the battery and the black clip tightly to the negative (-) terminal (very important).
3. Fully insert the battery clip connector into the EC5 port of the main unit.
4. Turn the car's ignition switch to the START position.
5. After the car starts, disconnect the plug and remove the battery clips within 30 seconds.
6. Do not attempt continuous starts. Starting should not exceed 3 seconds; if unsuccessful, wait more than 30 seconds before attempting a second start (do not continuously attempt to start, very important).
7. In cases of severe battery depletion (e.g., car doors and headlights cannot be normally opened), disconnect the negative terminal before starting to avoid the power source being over-discharged and swelling (consult customer service for one-on-one guidance).
Note: Vehicles with engine locks should not have the negative terminal disconnected.
